New bits and bobs from Zayunu....again hehehe!
Quick little note from Zayunu
Greetings Folks,
Just a quick note to remind you to please state the sizes of your dreadlock cuffs. This is a VITAL piece of information that I need in order to complete your orders and for your cuffs to fit properly and it seriously delays the order when that info is left out.
So please, please, please, help Auntie Zay by putting the cuff size in your order or in a separate note using the Contact Zayunu Page. That way you get your orders a lot faster and there is less likely to be any disappointments too. If you are not sure about the sizes then check out the FAQs page, where there is a size chart. Or take a rule and measure the width of you locs at its widest point for a custom fit.
Stay blessed always
Peaceful Regards

The birth of Zayunu's Loc n' Braid Hair Jewelry/Jewellery
Hi there Peeps,
As I work a lot with people with locs and also wear my hair in a natural twist style a lot I wanted to adorn my hair with jewelry/jewellery (seeing as I'm a jeweller and all)! But I wanted to be lazy and buy them. Everywhere I looked it was the same thing, either wooden beads or those tacky metal ring thingys that break before you put them in your hair. I wanted somethings different, something that would stand out . After searching I got fed up and decide that I would make my own hair jewellery, hence my Zayunu Loc n' Braid hair jewelry/jewellery was born.
At first they started out like this:

Where the hair wrap is coiled around the loc, twist or braid to look like this:

This style was good if you had very thin braids or twist but not if like me you had very thick hair. After twisting the wire around the hair a few times there was also the problem of metal fatigue (A weakening and then breakdown of metal parts caused by constant flexing).
I wanted something a little more durable and longer lasting, so I had to go back to the drawing board to come up with another style of hair adornment for my now very naked twists. I then came up with:
